• Trial Weeks: You can try out Mac QB Shareware for a period of 5 complete weeks. During the 6th week it will cease full functioning and you won't be able to continue.
• Entering a Complete Schedule: If you're using the NFL for your pool or if you know the schedule you want to use, you can enter the complete schedule for the season without affecting your 5 week trial period.
• Maximum Number of Games: You may have up to 15 games per week.
• Maximum Number of Weeks: You may have up to 25 weeks in a season.
• Maximum Number of Players: You may have up to 135 players. This includes both the active and inactive players.
• Deleting Players: A player may not be deleted if the player has played any week's pool. Each week's pool is archived so Mac QB needs the player's name for its records.
• Inactive Players: A player becomes inactive if he does not play in the current week's pool. If he plays in a subsequent week, select his name from the Inactive Players Menu when entering his picks. This will make him active again.
• Roll Over Pots and Inactive Players: If a pool has rolled over to the next week or weeks, Mac QB assumes players who join the pool after not playing in the previous week or weeks of the roll over pot have bought into the pot by paying for the roll over weeks they missed. Mac QB calculates what each player must pay to buy into the pot and adds that amount to the pot.
Mac QB does not keep track of buy in fees in the Player Accounts. So, make sure you collect the buy-in fees in addition to the week's fee.
• Active and Interactive Menus: When the splash screen is visible, you can select any player from either menu and view and adjust his/her account status.
• Maximum Number of Teams: You may have up to 90 teams in your list of teams.
• Deleting Teams: You may not delete a team after the first schedule has been entered. Before entering your first week's schedule, delete those teams that will not be included. You may also wish to delete teams if you are uncertain about using them in a schedule. You can always add them if they become a part of the schedule.
If you need to add a team but have reached the maximum number of teams, rename a team that has not been used in the schedules.
• Tie Scores: If the score of a game in an outright winners pool ends in a tie or the adjusted score in an against the spread pool ends in a tie, then any pick for either team is always a losing pick.
• Tie Breaker Game: You may choose to have any game as the tie-breaker game by placing it last in the schedule. If it is not the Monday night game, be sure to uncheck the Includes Monday Night Game option in the Weekly Pool Settings.
